Born July 28, 1972, Ayesha Jhulka is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Hindi films. However, she has also worked in Odia, Kannada, and Telugu films. Since a young age, Ayesha wanted to be a model. It was when her childhood lover jilted her that she finally moved to Mumbai and started modelling. After having a successful modelling career, she entered the Bollywood film industry in 1983 with the film Kaise Kaise Log. She soon went on to become really popular in Bollywood for her mesmerizing performances in blockbuster films like Khiladi, Dalaal, as well as Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. It was not until 1990 however, that she played her first lead role in the film Meet Mere Man Ke. She is most notably known for her iconic song “Pehla Nasha” from Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar which went on to become a sign of love in 1992 all across the country. Till this day, this song is very popular among the youth. Additionally, Ayesha Jhulka is not only popular for her charismatic performances, but she has also received notable fame from her love affairs with Bollywood stars, Nana Patekar, Mithun Chakraborty, Akshay Kumar, and Armaan Kohli. Other films Jhulka starred in include, Kurbaan, Meherbaan, Balmaa, Waqt Hamara Hai, Rang, Sangram, as well as Masoom.
